Technical Sales Support – HVAC

About the Company:

Our client is a successful, manufacturer’s representative operating for over 35 years with many offices around the GTA. They are well known for providing solutions for various HVAC applications to the commercial and industrials sectors.

Their Stoney Creek (Hamilton) offices are currently seeking a Technical Sales Support to join their team and to groom into an Outside Sales Representative The successful candidates will be provided with extensive training in HVAC and sales principles as well as manufacturer specific product training.

Responsibilities and Job Functions:

Responsible for determining the requirements and needs for each projects and meeting all of the customer’s HVAC system design and installation needs
Build, maintain and grow relationship with new and existing customers
Actively prospecting for new sales opportunities and in regular communications with customers and clients
Responsible for managing multiple projects
Supporting and assisting in the accounts receivable collection process
Working closely and assisting in the development of the sales team
Reporting to upper management to ensure the sales process is moving forward
Other relevant duties as requested

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or working toward completion of degree
HVAC industry experience is an asset but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have an eager, outgoing attitude and willingness for making sales
Strong computer skills
Strong command of English language, spoken and written

Compensation:

Up to $55,000 (dependent on experience level)
