Site Manager

About the Company:

An established and successful construction management contractor, who have been in business for over 20 years, specializes in design-build services for interior office renovations. They cater to the ICI industry and have completed numerous projects all over the GTA, ranging over 200,000 SF.

They are seeking for an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team for a full-time career offering many benefits and growth!

Responsibilities: 

• Conducts site walk-throughs to ensure deficiencies are noted and Building Code is adhered to
• Abide to all safety guideline and protocols; ensure all workers are following procedure and safety regulations
• Coordinate and schedule trades and sub-trade workers for each project and follow up on deadlines
• Organize, direct and control day-to-day activities on the job site
• Assists with the management of maintenance of job site ensuring it is clean and aesthetically appealing while under construction
• Ensure all sub trades/suppliers meet scheduled time lines
• Mitigate issues that may arise during the course of a project
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to effectively execute working plans
• Manage, train and mentor trades
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in construction, preferably interior renovations
• Experience working on ICI construction projects
• Must have Canadian general contracting experience
• Possess safety boots, hard hat and tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision
