Service Coordinator – HVAC / Plumbing

About the Company:

Our client is a large, busy and established mechanical company that provides a full line of products and services for HVAC, electrical and plumbing. They have been operating successfully for over 40 years in new home construction.

They are currently seeking for a Service Coordinator to join their dynamic team, offering room for growth and working with a great team of people!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review schedules for the HVAC technicians
• Working closely with the Service Manager to coordinate dispatching for the technicians
• Determine which technician is best suited for certain jobsites/projects and available
• Update the schedule as required
• Communicate service and schedule activities with the technicians and other service coordinators
• Review work activities that occurred after-hours
• Respond quickly to customers and service technicians
• Open and assign work orders and process purchase orders
• Review work orders submitted by technicians ensuring that they contain all the required information
• Follow-up on open work orders ensuring the work is completed and the order is closed and invoiced
• Assist in the creation, entering and tracking of service contracts
• Any other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Min 1 year of experience in Service Coordination (construction experience preferred)
• Ability to work in office, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Excellent computer and customer service skills
• Organized with attention to detail
• Professional with a positive attitude

Compensation:

• Up to $50,000 (based on experience)
