About the Company:
For over 25 years, our client has been servicing Southern Ontario, including Ottawa by providing high-quality commercial HVAC solutions for all building sizes including high-rise condominiums. They have a special focus on fabrication and installation of sheet metal and air system solutions.
They are constantly expanding and currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal/Mechanical Estimator to join their talented team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Projects ranging from $600 thousand to $8 million dollars
- Experience estimating high rise residential buildings
- Experience with completing drawing takeoff
- Submitting drawings to suppliers and sub trades for pricing
- Entering quantities into Excel spreadsheet format
- Product releases from the suppliers and tracking products that ae on backorder
- Experience in pricing everything relating to sheet metal and HVAC
Requirements:
Experience in Estimation (mechanical and sheet metal preferred)
Ability to work independently
Good problem solving skills
Strong work ethic
Excellent computer skills
Compensation:
Up to $90K (commensurate with experience)
