General Site Superintendent

About the Company:

An established and successful construction management contractor, who have been in business for over 20 years, specializes in design-build services for interior office renovations and other large commercial buildings. They have completed numerous of projects all over the GTA ranging up to $11M.

They are rapidly growing as they have secured, large, long term projects all over the GTA. They are seeking for an industry experienced General Site Superintendent who can make a difference in the company and join their dynamic team of talented professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Vice President of Operations
• Responsible for hiring, training and supporting a team of site managers and supervisors
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with your team members to offer support, guidance and mentorship, including motivation in the execution of training plans
• Develop and implement new standards and procedures to ensure consistency across the team
• Site visitations and participate in site audits
• Project monitoring including reviewing schedules, daily logs, manpower, health and safety reporting, changes, RFIs submittals, etc.
• Attend all internal and external kickoff meetings
• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• Min 10+ years of recent and relevant Canadian experience in construction as a Site Manager
• Experience with Procore is an asset
• Strong communication with a positive attitude

Compensation:

• Up to $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
