Shop / Warehouse Assistant

About the Company:

Our client is a large, busy and established mechanical company that provides a full line of products and services for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing. They have been operating successfully for over 40 years in new home construction.

Their Plumbing department is currently seeking for a Shop/Warehouse Assistant who can operate a Forklift to join their dynamic team. They offer room for growth in position and salary, and the opportunity to work with a great team of people!

This is a full-time, permanent position with the shifts of Monday to Friday at 6:30am to 3:30pm.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Operating a forklift safely
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of warehouse/shop
• Using the company vehicle to pick up delivers, deliver materials to job sites, etc
• Ability to load and unload plumbing materials
• Responsible for keeping track of tool inventory
• Maintaining record of equipment inventory
• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving abstract
• Forklift license (or knowledge on operating a Forklift)
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Possesses safety boots
• Ability to work early mornings and full time hours
• Knowledge on plumbing is not required, but an asset

Wages:

• Up to $45,000+ (depending on experience)
